Metsähallitus works together with municipalities and cities to zone state-owned land areas. Zoning projects are often initiated in response to the needs of our customers, but we also offer ready-made sites. Our goal is always to provide solutions that support business development, and when needed, we work together with our customers to create a zoning solution that meets their requirements.
Are you planning to build a hotel, holiday village, commercial building or another type of business facility? Whether your project is large or small, we may have the right site for your future business. Your project concept does not need to be fully developed before you contact us. We can help develop it together with you. We will identify the most suitable site and take your business needs into account in the zoning process. Our extensive portfolio also includes ready-to-build plots if speed is a priority.
One particular advantage for entrepreneurs is that contract-related matters can be handled quickly. Reserving an area through a preliminary agreement provides the time needed to finalise project planning. We aim to provide flexibility throughout the process. When it is time to move from planning to implementation, you can choose whether the site will be acquired through a land purchase or a lease agreement.

Land Rental Services
We offer rental opportunities for a wide range of land use needs, including ski slope areas, wind power sites, extraction zones for aggregates and peat, fishing and fish farming areas, as well as natural food ponds for juvenile fish cultivation. All agricultural fields under our ownership are also available for lease for cultivation purposes.
