Partner Visibility at Luontoon Service

The new Luontoon service was launched in December 2024. The service utilizes Visit Finland’s DataHub product database to showcase the service and product offerings of partner companies. Below you will find the instructions for gaining visibility for your company.

The products and services of partner companies will be found on the destination presentation page under the Services section. This section includes the following categories where your company can gain visibility: restaurants and cafes, equipment rental, accommodation, guide and experience services, transport services, and for companies and groups. See example from Nuuksio National Park (luontoon.fi).

The basic requirement for visibility is a tourism cooperation agreement with Metsähallitus Parks & Wildlife Finland. Additionally, it is required that the company’s products and services are in Visit Finland’s DataHub database and that they are linked to the destination-specific product groups managed by Metsähallitus.

The following basic criteria apply to all products and services:

  • The company producing information on its services must have a valid tourism cooperation agreement with Metsähallitus
  • The company’s services must be suitable for the content and target groups of the Luontoon service.
  • The company must have a website in both Finnish and English.
  • The products/services offered by the company must be located/take place within or in the immediate vicinity of areas managed by Metsähallitus (the company may be registered elsewhere).
  • All products added to the Luontoon service from DataHub must comply with the rules of the operating area (destination) in question and other regulations. However, if you offer tourism products outside the boundaries of our area (i.e. in the immediate vicinity as a service to visitors in the area), please remember the principles of sustainable tourism.
