According to its principles, Metsähallitus interacts closely with regional and local stakeholders in issues relating to the planning of forestry, nature conservation and other land use. This ensures that different views are brought forward and is a way of acquiring information on the operating environment of Metsähallitus. In this way, potential conflicts can also be prevented.
