Cooperation with Finland’s neighbouring countries Russia, Norway, Sweden, Estonia and Latvia aims at improving the conservation of the boreal climate and natural features.
Transboundary parks play an important part in cooperation.
Cooperation with neighbouring countries is also realised and developed in other ways.
Cooperation between bordering countries is important for the conservation of species.
