Metsähallitus’ Personnel
Metsähallitus’ workforce in 2007:
- The number of personnel of the Metsähallitus Group (including subsidiaries) corresponded to approximately 1,800 person-years.
- In addition, Metsähallitus employs external contractors in the amount of some 800 person-years.
- Thus the total employment effect of Metsähallitus corresponds to 2,600 person-years.
Less than 10 per cent of the personnel works at the Tikkurila head office in the Helsinki region, and the rest at the various offices of Metsähallitus all over Finland. Most (55,5%) of the salaries and wages paid by Metsähallitus are paid to employees in the provinces of Oulu and Lapland.
